Aside from their high-end broadcast hardware, this company makes some of the best PC based compressed and non-compressed digital disk recorders. We use their PVR cards and their Reality cards featuring uncompressed 601 I/O all over the place, and really like them a lot. Ultimatte® vs. Chroma Key Several years ago, Greg McMurry, one of the truly fine visual effects guys in the industry, asked me to write a short description of the differences between using an Ultimatte® and a Chromakeyer for color compositing, and placed the resulting paper on this page.
